Information you give us

When you submit our contact form, we collect the details you provide, typically your name, work email, company and message. The form is operated through HubSpot, our customer relationship management (CRM) provider, which processes and stores these submissions on our behalf so we can respond to your enquiry and, where you have consented, send you relevant communications.

The form loads when you open the contact page, before any cookie choice, because it is how you reach us. At that point HubSpot records that the form was viewed, and Google reCAPTCHA, which HubSpot uses to keep automated spam out of the form, receives information about your device and browser and may set or read a cookie on Google's own domain to tell people from bots. Google uses this information to provide and improve reCAPTCHA and for general security, under its own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting platform records standard technical data, such as browser type, referring page, approximate region and the time of each request, to keep the site secure and reliable. Our pages also load their fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser sends your IP address and browser details to Google when a page loads; Google Fonts does not set cookies.

For audience measurement we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or fingerprinting and does not track you across sites. It gives us aggregate metrics (page views, popular pages, referrers, performance) and does not identify you individually.

We also use four cookie-based tools, which set cookies on this site only once consent is granted (the Cookies section below explains how consent works, what loads before it, and the cookies Google and Microsoft set on their own domains). Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, gives us aggregate measurement: which pages are visited, how visitors arrived, how far pages are scrolled, which outbound links, downloads and videos are used, and which forms are completed.

Google Ads, connected to our Google Analytics account and loaded by the same Google tag, measures whether visits from our advertising lead to enquiries. It also lets us show our ads to you on other websites and services in Google's advertising network after you have visited this site (remarketing), and Google can use your visit to personalise the ads you see there. For this, Google uses its own advertising cookies on Google's domains as well as the cookies set on this site. When you submit our contact form, the Google tag may also send Google a hashed (scrambled) copy of the email address and phone number you entered, so that Google can match your enquiry to an ad you saw or clicked. Google uses this information under its own policies, described in How Google uses information from sites that use its services.

HubSpot sets cookies to recognise your browser across visits and records the pages you view and how you arrived at our site. If you later submit a form, that earlier activity is associated with your contact record so our team has useful context when responding. It is linked to you only if you identify yourself, for example by submitting a form or by clicking a link in an email we have sent you.

Microsoft Clarity records how visitors use each page (session recordings) and builds heatmaps so we can see which pages are unclear. It captures pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. Masking is enabled, so text you type into a form field is not recorded. Clarity runs for every visitor, including before any choice and after a decline. Until consent is granted it sets no cookies on this site and, according to Microsoft, gives each page view its own identifier rather than linking your pages into one visit or to a later one. Whatever you choose, loading Clarity lets Microsoft set its own cookies on its domains (clarity.ms and bing.com), including an identifier Microsoft can read when Clarity sends it data; your browser may accept or block them. Once consent is granted, Clarity also uses cookies on this site to link the pages of a visit, and your visits, together, and it can read HubSpot's visitor cookie, so a recording can be matched to HubSpot's record of your browser.

Cookies

Google Ads, described above, uses advertising cookies. Like our other cookie-based tools, it sets them only once consent is granted: after you accept in the EU, EEA or UK, or by default elsewhere. Some cookies are essential: for example, HubSpot may set cookies necessary to operate and secure our contact form, and Google reCAPTCHA may set a cookie on Google's own domain to protect the form from spam.

Our Cloudflare analytics is cookieless and always active. HubSpot's tracking code is not loaded until consent is granted. Microsoft Clarity loads for everyone but sets no cookies on this site until consent is granted; Microsoft may still set its own cookies on its domains when Clarity loads, as described above. Google's tags for Analytics and Ads load on every page, but until consent is granted they set no cookies. They still send Google basic information about the visit that is not tied to a cookie, such as the page viewed, the referring page, the time, your browser type and your consent choice, and like any web request they reveal your IP address. The contact form and Google reCAPTCHA also load before any choice, as described under Information you give us.

How we obtain that consent depends on where your visit appears to come from, which we work out from your internet connection or, if that fails, from your device's time zone. If it appears to come from the EU, EEA or UK, we ask before setting these cookies and treat them as declined until you choose. Elsewhere consent is treated as granted when you first visit, without a prompt, and that default is remembered in the same way as a choice until you change it with Cookie choices.

Your choice is remembered in your browser, not in a cookie, for 180 days, whether you accepted or declined. After that, we ask again in the EU, EEA and UK, and apply the default again elsewhere.

You can change your mind at any time, wherever you are: select Cookie choices at the bottom of any page to accept or decline. If you decline after accepting, we remove the analytics and advertising cookies our tools set on this site, and the ad-click data Google keeps in your browser's storage, and reload the page. We cannot remove cookies that Google, Microsoft or HubSpot set on their own domains: you can clear those in your browser settings, and you can turn off personalised ads from Google at myadcenter.google.com. You can also block cookies for this site in your browser settings and essential functions will still work; to stop these tools loading at all, use your browser's tracker or script blocking. To ask us to delete information we already hold about you, such as your HubSpot contact record, email [email protected].

How we use information

  • To respond to enquiries and provide the services you request.
  • To send communications you have asked for or consented to (you can opt out at any time).
  • To operate, secure, maintain and improve the website.
  • To measure our advertising and, where consent is granted, show our ads to people who have visited this site (see Google Ads above).
  • To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it with service providers who process it on our behalf under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations. These are principally HubSpot (CRM, forms and website analytics), Google (tag management, analytics, web fonts and form spam protection), Microsoft (session analytics) and Cloudflare (hosting, security, analytics). Where consent is granted, Google also receives information about your visit for advertising and uses it under its own terms, including to personalise the ads you see, and it uses reCAPTCHA information under its own terms as well (see above). Microsoft receives the session analytics described above from every visitor, together with the identifiers in the cookies it sets on its own domains, and handles them under the Microsoft Privacy Statement. We also share information where required by law, valid legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of MBCTG, our users or the public.

International transfers

MBCTG operates across several countries, and our providers may process data in the United States and elsewhere. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as required by applicable law.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here (for example, to follow up on your enquiry and maintain our business relationship) and then delete or anonymise it, unless a longer period is required by law.

Security

We use commercially reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

This website is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Our site may link to third-party websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices; please review their policies.
